Design of a desk coin sorting machine

The bachelor thesis demonstrates the design concept of a low cost electromechanically driven coin sorter that can be created by the utilization of additive manufacturing, specifically 3D printing. Technical drawing documentation of the chosen design concept is then provided as well as insight into the 3D printing process. In the conclusion, the working model of the coin sorter is created, and an analysis is offered of potential problematic areas as well as possible improvements and extensions.
Grave gifts and the personal equipment of the dead in the early medieval burials and the fade away of this custom

The topic of the bachelor thesis is Grave gifts and personal equipment of the dead in the early medieval burials and the fade away of this custom. The thesis is divided into three parts. First of them is dedicated to the analysis of selected early medieval burial grounds and closer acquainting with singular items of grave's equipment. In the second chapter are these items closely characterized and dated. I have tried in the last chapter to follow the causes of the phenomenon of fading away of the grave's equipment in early medieval burial grounds. The goal of the thesis is to follow the changes in the frequency of occurrence of the items placed into graves on Czech early medieval burial grounds, focusing on singular kinds of grave's discoveries, determination of chronology and interpretation of the causes of the followed phenomenon.

1 The legal aspects of currency and payment system Resume: The monetary law as a part of the financial law is concentrating mainly on institutions of currency, its emissions, payment systems and its security. Currency is a concrete monetary system in a concrete state, which is settled by legal acts of this state. The state authority specifies not only the nominal value of banknotes and coins, but also rules of their reproduction, rules of the exchange of damages banknotes for new ones, rules of their acceptance as a payment instruments, rules o payment systems etc. The monetary system in Czech Republic is compounded of banknotes in denomination of 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 and coins in denomination of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50. The currency named Czech koruna and it is divided into 100 hellers. The sole institution, which has a legal right to emit banknotes and coins, is the Czech National Bank by the Act no. 6/1993 Co. The CNB through its ordinances specifies the emission of a concrete banknote or coin, its size, design, weight... and beginning of validity (for example the Ordinance CNB no. 78/2009 Co. or Ordinance CNB no. 111/1993 Co.). This thesis focuses on the law regulation of the paper currency, coins and money circulation in the Czech Republic. It is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is intended to introduce the issue of the currency to a reader by explaining the concept of money, currency, legal tenders and related matters. It describes also the process of money creation and historical evolution of money in the world and within the Czech Republic as well. The second chapter examines the current law regulation regarding to the currency and the money circulation in the Czech Republic. It provides brief explanation of source of law concept and specifies the fundamental legal regulations relating to the currency and money circulation. The third chapter is concentrated on the role of the Czech national bank as the central bank of the Czech Republic. The fundamental activities performed by the Czech national bank upon the laws, such as the issuance of the fiat money and the management of the circulation of currency, are discussed in this chapter. Financial Literacy at Kindergarten

This thesis focuses on financial literacy in pre-school education. The aim of this thesis is to create a series of activities, that correspond to the development of pre-school children. The proposed activities relate to financial literacy in a broader sense, than just financial mathematics. The objective is to verify eligibility of proposed activities, both from the author's perspective, as well as from the perspective of the teachers of kindergarten, in which the research was set. The creation of proposed activities is based on the theoretical foundations obtained in the theoretical part of this work. The objective of the proposed activities is to introduce children to the fundamentals of financial literacy, initiate first experience, fortify designed habits and acquaint children with elementary concepts. The verification method is based on qualitative research with elements of action research. Observation of pre-school children during the activities served as main data collection method. The activities were captured on video for later analysis and post-reflection. The obtained data allowed possible modifications of activities and conditions of their implementation, as well as further recommendations for teacher practice.

The research is focused on pupils in the first stage of primary school and in particular verbal math problems, in which nominal value of coins, quantity of coins and their total sum play a key role. The theoretical part consists of demarcation of early school age, a certain number of anticipated acts by RVP ZV for the first and second educational period, numeracy, literacy, verbal math problems, various strategies on how to solve such problems, basic issues pupils encounter while solving those problems, teaching aids used in dealing with verbal math problems about money, comments on the topic of verbal math problems which appear in three volumes of textbooks intended for primary schools (Prodos, Tak-tic, H-mat), and their mutual comparison. The practical part is launched by methodology of a quantitative research (in the form of three experiments). The first pre-experiment is carried out by seven pupils, the first and second by ten pupils.
